Notice of Accuracy and Inaccuracy

If you give the Australian Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL; NSW Dept of Commerce) enough money (and keep giving it every year) they'll give you a license for the latest harmonics. Without the money, no access. Australia is a country that's restricting or not publishing their latest harmonics, and any program that uses the XTIDE harmonics is slowly drifting off. There's nothing to be done either, we can't get the new harmonics from them and that's that. USE THESE RESULTS AS A GUIDE ONLY ! see Seafarer Tides (CD) ~$60 annually AND.... Check these predictions against officially sanctioned tables. Agencies like BOM exist because there is a need for certifiably correct tide predictions.
Do not rely on these predictions if you need guaranteed results. There is NO WAY we can get certified data on a zero budget. We rely on users like you to tell us when something is wrong. Please continue to do so.
Remember that weather conditions affect tidal ranges and current speeds, sometimes very strongly.

XTide's predictions do not incorporate the effects of tropical storms, El Niño, seismic events, continental drift, or changes in global sea level.

Lightning Tracker

I have found a really good site (better than country energy) for Lightning tracking on the NSW coast (full length) Which is real time.... Take a look here
