Warnings:
Strong Wind Warning north of Cape Byron.
Synoptic Situation:
A high pressure system over the southwestern Tasman Sea will move slowly east-northeast during Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday a cold front is expected to move across the southern Tasman Sea.
IDN1002302:
Far North Coastal Waters, Point Danger to Wooli and 60nm seawards: Strong Wind Warning north of Cape Byron.

Saturday until midnight:
Wind: E/SE 15/20 knots, reaching 20/30 knots north of Cape Byron but easing this evening.
Sea: about 1.5 metres rising 2 to 3 metres north of Cape Byron but abating.
Swell: S/SE 2 to 3 metres, decreasing.

Sunday:
Wind: E/NE 10/15 knots.
Sea: 1 to 1.5 metres.
Swell: SE about 2 metres.

Monday Outlook:
Wind: NE 10/20 knots, reaching 25 knots offshore late.

Tuesday Outlook:
Wind: NW/NE 20/30 knots turning W'ly.

Isolated showers clearing. West to northwest winds.
